2022 English Social Solutions Contest Information
The ESSC Challenge 2022
“How to live a healthy life in the real world:
social media, metaverse, and the mental health”
The use of social media, the upcoming VR/AR/MR (Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality) technologies and the possible metaverse have a very strong impact on our lives and our social interactions. This means that we need to properly position, treat, and value ourselves in a digital age, both physically and mentally. We are looking for projects that address these challenges to enable a better life for humanity in the real world under the impact of social media and evolving technologies.
The project and solution proposed should address an issue that needs to be resolved or to pay attention to, and present an enforceable solution. The project may include different stages, if needed, but the first stage should be enforceable and able to be concluded within the coming 12 months with a budget of no greater than US$10,000. Resources needed for this project and expected benefits of this project should be identified.
This year’s ESSC askes the college and high school participants to present a project idea to address these challenges with the focus to enable a better life for humanity.
